MobileIron Core Guide: General

Important

Before proceeding, please make sure that your Exodus instance supports your EMM servers' versions as source and/or target in the support matrix page

Required environment's information

General information

For each endpoint you have to setup, you'll need these pieces of information:

  • EMM Host URL: the host URL is the URL domain you are using to access your MobileIron Core environment (e.g. https://micore.example.com/)

Important

This host also must have the API service accessible from your Exodus instance's backend. You can find its exact hostname in the console, when creating your migration, the host's field will give you the information by hovering your mouse on its help tooltip.

  • Admin's username and password: to create a migration, you need an admin user that has API access rights.

Hint

We highly recommend that you create a dedicated admin user for the migration since we’ll need to store its password in the Exodus server during the migration. Don't forget to add the API role to that user.

Next Steps

The next steps depend on which of your environments are using MobileIron Core.

If you have MobileIron Core as your current EMM, please follow the prerequisites for configuring a MobileIron Core source environment.

Note

Exodus doesn't support MobileIron Core as a target EMM yet.
